Apparently Olympus increasingly serious for developing resilient TG series, so the recently launched Olympus Stylus Tough TG-3. This camera features reinforced with anti-dust and waterproof, because the Olympus Stylus Tough TG-3 has been coated with rubber to absorb impact as well as a waterproof coating.

 As Olympus TG-2, the TG-3 also has a lens 25-100 mm f2.0-4.9 with 4x optical zoom. The difference is, when the TG-2 has a lens with a digital microscope functions that increase magnification 7x to 14x zoom when shooting within 1 cm from the subject, TG-3 step further by adding a macro focus mode with a tiered system. The TG-3 comes equipped with an Advanced Super Macro Mode that's actually four separate modes in one: Microscope Mode, Focus Stacking Mode, Microscope Control Mode, and Focus Bracketing Mode.

Olympus Stylus TG-3 is supported with 16 megapixel CMOS BSI sensor and TruePic VII processors which more responsive than the TG-2. The camera is also equipped with a Wi-Fi connection, so you can share photos via handheld devices such as smartphones or tablets, and GPS to mark the location of the photo, even the e-compass, plus a height sensor, so you will know where you are, and at any altitude, for example when you're climbing a mountain.

These cameras also allow you to make a movie or a video clip in full HD resolution. Olympus Stylus Tough TG-2 equiped with 25-100mm lens with aperture of f/2.0 - 4.9. Interestingly, The Olympus TG-3 is also has a microscope mode that allows users to take pictures of small objects at a distance of only 10mm. 

You could say Olympus TG-3 is a small camera with advanced capabilities, and can be the perfect gadget for those who are young at heart, and will be available in both red and black for around $350 during June of the is year.
