Teens and college students apparently prefer to use Digital SLR cameras than point-to-shoot cameras (compact cameras), but they do not have the money to buy it. Of course they need the help of money from their parents. Not all parents are also able to fulfill the desires of their children.

4. Make sure you complete your lenses with UV filter.

5. If you have extra money you may need to buy a macro lens.
6. Do you need to also buy a tripod? If so, buy a tripod at an affordable price.

If you have a specific focus such as to be a landscape photographer, then you definitely need a telephoto lens and a zoom lens. But as a beginner you do not rush to decide on the focus to be your field in the future.
